Consultation Fees (01/07/2019-)

• Standard Consultations (8:30 am – 5.30 pm, Weekdays) are $200 (50-60 min)
• Couple Consultations (including assessment) are $250 (60-70 min)
• After-hours, off-site and organisation consults : APS rates apply†
• Long consults, as above plus @15 min

†The Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) current recommended fee for Psychological Services is $251 (46-60 min) and $309 (61-75)

Private Health Insurance

Private health insurance policies with extras cover usually rebate a portion of psychology fees (specific rebates and annual limits vary).  I offer HiCaps for some health funds.

Medicare: Better Access, Mental Health Care Plans

Following a GP assessment, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $126.50 per session (Clinical Psychology Item 80010), for 6-10 sessions per calendar year.  This reduces your cost to $73.50 per session. However once you have reached Medicare ‘original safety net’ or ‘extended safety net’ thresholds, Medicare rebates increase; further reducing your cost to between $51.55 and $10.71 per session respectively.

Medicare rebates (above) can be processed at the time of payment.

Payment

Consultation fees are due on the day of your visit.  Payments methods include cash, Debit Cards, Electronic Funds Transfer, EFTPOS.

24 hours’ cancellation notice is appreciated and required to avoid fees.
