Consultation Fees (as of 01/07/2022)

The Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) 2022 recommended fee for a standard Clinical Psychology consultation is $280 (45-60 min) and $344 for an extended consultation (61-75 min).

My Standard Clinical Consultation Fee (for 8.30 am -5.00 pm Tuesday to Friday) F2F or Tele Health

• Individual: $250 (-60 mins)
• Couples:     $250 (-60 mins)
• Extended consults: + $50 per 15 min interval

• Non-standard hours: + $50 per session (i.e., before 8.30 or after 5 pm)

Private Health Insurance

Most private health insurance policies with ‘extras’ cover will offer varied rebates on psychology fees.

For Couples Therapy, each partner can usually claim their own respective limits.

Medicare: Individual Mental Health Care Plans*

(*Please check my availability before seeking a GP Medicare referral to my practice)

Following a GP assessment and referral, you may qualify for a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan, with rebates of $131.65 per session (Medicare Item 80010-F2F, Item 91167-video) for 6 to 10 sessions per calendar year* ( $118.35 out of pocket).   

*Until 31/12/22, Medicare allows for an extra 10 rebated sessions (i.e., maximum of 20 sessions) with relevant GP referral.

Once Medicare ‘safety net’ limits are reached, up to 85% of your consultation fee may be rebated under a Medicare Plan.  

Please note Medicare rebates apply to individuals & unfortunately do not apply to couples therapy

Business Coaching

Tax deductions may apply to business consults (seek financial advise), however non-clinical services do attract the GST.

Payment

Consultation fees are due on the day of your visit.  Payments methods include EFTPOS, Debit & Credit Cards, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) .

24 hours’ cancellation notice is appreciated and required to avoid full fee.    For all EFT payments:
